Lucas and Denise are the abandoned children of Antoney and Carla, living adrift on a Portobello houseboat. Desperate to find his place in the world, Lucas embarks on a life-changing quest to uncover his parents’ legacy – Antoney was the adored, charismatic leader of the Midnight Ballet, a forgotten 1960s dance troupe, and Carla his leading lady.
